My mentor often tells a story of a job that she did where the office work environment was very tumultuous. Turns out the owner of the company loved nautical themes, AND all of his artwork was of ships in stormy seas. She promptly suggested that he remove these pictures and replace them with calmer water scenes. Shortly after that the office environment turned around and they became more productive and profitable.
